Car and Driver is planning to re-launch its site. This new and improved site promises to be much more interactive and user-friendly. With increased functionality, it will be even easier to navigate. There is much more information and links on the new homepage, allowing for quicker, more efficient search.

In addition, one of the best features of the new site is the increased functionality of the buyer’s guide, which allows you to more easily search for vehicles specifically tailored to your needs. For example, if you choose a make such as Lexus, the new site instantly provides you with several links to the latest reviews, comparison tests, news, and advice on different models.

Then, selecting a model, such as the IS allows you to view all of its top competitors in that class. With the ability to drill down on specifications and view tons of interior and exterior images, the new Car and Driver site is definitely more interactive and user-friendly, and will enhance your Lexus shopping experience. Lexus LF-A Supercar

Excitement is mounting over the debut of the Lexus LF-A Supercar. Toyota is going to unveil the production version of LF-A at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show, slated for late October this year. Despite the current economic crunch, Toyota proves its commitment to F1 by channelizing the Lexus LF-A concept in to production – albeit, in very small numbers. This V10 powered 600Hp roadster is likely to be available in the market by 2011.

The Lexus IS F Concept was first unveiled in 2006. The performance-oriented Lexus IS F has since undergone a complete makeover with all new looks and features. The modified 2009 Lexus IS F was unveiled at the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. Here’s what we know…

IS F has grown more powerful with two turbochargers bolted to its 5.0-liter V-8 engine and additional JE pistons. Equipped with Crower connecting rods, a new radiator, a redesigned computer, and performance exhaust – the Lexus IS F is expected to top 600hp.

The IS F also sports a redesigned body with additional color choices. Sleek colors ranging from bright sunset orange to cool electric blue nicely complement the superbly styled exterior. Given what we’ve seen, the IS F can’t make it into production fast enough.
